By writing this, I believe that I'm sharing the apprehensions of many people around the globe. Barack Obama selected Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State. Seing Hillary as the S.S, brings back memories of the Clinton administration, which bombed the Balkans. During the candidate race, H.C also stated that she will "vanish Iran", won't talk directly with leaders like R. Castro and Chaves, and other statements won't indicate "change" in any way.
B. Obama has stated in the past, that he also needs consorts who won't agree with him, in order for the new president to see things in every aspect. Thus, believing in Obama's endowments, my fears of a "republicanish" Dept of State are moderated drastically.
We will just have to see what happens from Jan 20th and on.
